YAY! my worries are over! i have enough points to be qualified for the sheffield graduate award! *takes a bow* heh heh. So for now all i have to do is compile my portfolio....submit the draft to the coordinator...have her give me some feedback to see how it is..make some changes to the portfolio and submit my final draft to the careers service on the 14th! simple enough rite?

i haven't actually GOT the award yet...it all depends on my portfolio and what the examiners and the external examiners will think lagi. So im really hoping ill get it! amiinnnnnn~

So im guessing im really going to have a very hectic and longggg week after this weekend.

Case studies assignment due on the 13th....exam results will be out this 13th as well and the portfolio on the 14th. GAH!!

Had an induction for the sheffield graduate award tadi. Was a bit worried about what the outcome is going to be...i mean...i wanted to know how they calculate the points for each activity and all...and true enough...after the briefing ended...i seriously think i won't have enough points to be qualified. and guess siapa tah ada jua di sana nah? si wannn! anak atu...dimana-mana saja ku tejumpa. mua nya saja. :P

*sigh* expressed my concern with the lady in charge...so i've got to meet her tomorrow for the drop-in sessions. darn it. i was thinking of using the whole day to catch up with my case studies assignment..didnt feel like going out. so now i hafta! grrr...so i suppose ill just do it after that lah. might drop by at the information commons or something if im up to it :P

i wanted to make a good impression on the careers service ppl just in case i needed to persuade to let me join the scheme...hehe. so i dressed up smartly in a way to show that im err...a serious and dedicated student? haha.

Can't help it...i just love cam-whoring :p

me and fish went to the city centre before that though..she needed to go to clinton cards and i needed to look for slippers. my pink furry house slippers are so BURUK already...it was all tattered and torn everywhere...memberi kesian usulnya...so i just had to get new ones. found real cute ones at M&S. comfy brabis lagi tu...at 7 pounds..it was quite a steal. hehe.


oh oh...and they had a live band playing when we were at the city tadi...siukkk. they were real good as well. apparently they're the no 1 jive band in the UK. made up of real old dudes though..nevertheless...they can really play :) i think they were holding it in conjunction of some say no to drugs thing or something. it was sponsored by the church of scientology (sp?) gila..bangga tom cruise meliat. haha.

current mood: happy happy to the max!

ok ok..i think i hafta start my story from when i woke up. heh heh. why? cause i just want to lah. cause i actually woke up feeling like crap. the thing is...i stayed up late last nite (again! i know...im so tancit) anyways..u see..i stayed up late cause i was trying to finish up my biz strategy tutorial questions. the thing is..its a relatively EASY case study to do..but i was just sooooo sleeepppyyyy...and it was already 10 in the evening...and i just didnt feel like finishing a whole case study u know? so i had a BRILLIANT idea...why not watch a movie while i do my work rite? so since i just recently downloaded "first wives club" on my laptop..might as well watch it rite?

(ya, i know..first wives club is such a classic..but i remember loving that movie..and true enough...i spent like..most of my time watching the movie than doing my work)

so yes...so i kept pausing lah...doing my work..watching it again...so in the end i finally finished my work at 2.30am! wahhh...and i had to wake up early the next day. my class is at 9am today...so i set my alarm clock to 6.30am. thats like...4 hours of sleep only!! so before i slept...i checked again and reset it to 6.45am. wats the use if i know im gonna press snooze again rite? might as well savour the extra 15mins of extra sleep. HAHA. and true enough...i pressed snooze tadi...so i ended up showerin at 6.55 just now.

*ahem* so i went to taxation class... and MY GOD. i nearly died lah. there was a guest lecturer from pricewaterhouse coopers again rite? and this guy was so DRY! well to me lah...some ppl had different opinions. but he didnt even give us the slides...so i was forced to try and listen to wat he was trying to say..and i was mentally strangling myself cause i was just so TIRED from lack of sleep and the fact that this guy was not captivating enough to keep me wanna listen to him is bad lerrr...so by the end of the lecture..i was just ready to go to biz strategy tutorials. bounded out of class..and almost ran my way to management school. (only had 5 mins to go from 1 place to the other) biz strategy was bearable...did the usual things lah.

after class....me,fish and rash went to the moor to go buy our usual groceries that we need from the local chinese shop. then we went back to rashies place to have our lunch. bought chicken and chips at the chicken bar. so niceeee...really stuffed myself. *pats tummy*

then after that...me and fish attended the team working skills workshop at octagon centre that was held by Accenture (i still wanna work there) and OMG that was when the drama started.

basically we started off the session by introducing our (lets see if i can remember)

so victoria (the accenture representative) made us form into groups of four...i was put in another group and fish in another group. i liked this group i was put in..there were all laidback and nice ppl. so we introduced ourselves within our group...and then gave the feedback to the rest of the group after that. then after that comes another activity (and this is when most of the drama started)

there were 24 ppl in the workshop altogether rite? and we were put into groups of 8 now. so there were 3 groups altogether rite? i was in a different group than fish lagi lah. so anyways..the first activity in this new group...we were told that we are stuck in a desert island, and are given a list of 20 items...and then we can only pick only 5 items from that list...pretty basic...and we got on through this task just fine..no major tension and disagreements...Fish's group had a pretty heavy argument btwn these two architect students...both very headstrong lah..so u can imagine that both didnt wanna mengalah. heh heh heh! then comes our next activity...(this one is BRABIS DRAMAAA slajur) our task was to construct a gas platform by using 40 straws, cellotape and scissors. and this structure has to be strong enough that it could hold a brick, be at least 15 cm high. the group who can accomplish this will win. but at the event of a tie, the group that uses the least amount of straws will win!! awesome activity eh? so i was REALLY excited. especially when she said she'll be announcing a winner and there will be a lil prize!! yayyy! hehe

so anyways... we discussed the design...and then went to proceed with making the structure rite? oh..and there is no actual brick..but the lady did have a HUGE water bottle (filled ofcourse) as a substitute for the brick. anyhooo....most of us agreed on making this structure..and this ONE girl (HAIIYAHHHH) telampau banyak pikir wah prasan ku..she was just naggin and saying that she doesnt think our structure will hold and all..and just kept being such a pessimist. but the thing is ah...she was just complainin all throughout the 2o mins we were making and building the structure..no contribution or help or anything..she just NAGGED. ya allahhhh...ngalih ku kan melayan sudah...i just tried to calm her down by saying if this doesnt work...we can proceed with another alternative but what was important now is trying to finish this asap and see if it could work...and then our time was up!! and we finished it just in the nick of time.

(oh, and fish's group? gila....banyak arguments ia cerita..u see...theyve got TWO architect students in her group - and yup..you guessed it...both are the headstrong ones! so they mostly argued for like...25 mins and only made their structure for 5 mins! pokoknya ancur lah..lawa sudah and they kept changing their structure. ALL IN THE DURATION OF 5 MINS mind you!!! gilaaa. so in the end their lawa structure kinda looked all distorted and weird)

so in the end...we all had to bring our structure in front...and the lady tested it. fishs group inda dpt hold the water bottle. the other group could hold the water bottle...and then came my group! we could also hold the water bottle! YAY! BUT...we won cause our structure was taller!! hahahahahha. so WOOHOO!! my group won! and our prize?? a huge celebrations chocolates box!! yayyyy! tpi in the end we all shared with the whole group jua..hehehe. (teamwork kali ahhhh?? bulllliieeehhh?? hahaha)

after that me and fish went to rashies place to pick up our groceries that we left at her place...and then we went home. and that was when i had my happy good news. i got an email from kaka! and she told me that shes due TOMORROW!! omg....that got me all excited and happy tarus. :)

im gonna be an aunt..im excited..and also scared at the same time. but omg!! a lil cute human being will be a new addition to the family!!! :) so ive been all giggly and happy and excited ever since :') *SNIFFFF*

cant wait cant wait cant wait!! i wish i can fast forward time...hehehe. i wanna see PICTURES!!! will probably proudly post it up soon :) hehehe. depends on how fast the response from my family would be plang tu... hehehe :P

The malaysian society held "Sheffield Malaysian Games" on the 1st of March. So that was um...yesterday. Yes. heh heh. Anyways, woke up before the bloody break of dawn yesterday. Felt really groggy...cause i slept late the previous night. I know..im so silly..i never really learn do i? anyways, rushed through..cause um..silly me kept pressing the snooze button. ha! so i had to skip my breakfast in order to arrive at Rashie's place on time. :P

But we stopped by at Tesco Express on our way to the city..so i grabbed a bag of butter croissant. NYAMAN!

Had to take the bus to go to the Concorde Sports Centre.

Anyhoos...to summarise the whole day...Us BRUSHEFF ppl joined Badminton, Football (2 teams) and Basketball. And im proud to report that WE WENT TO THE FINALS FOR ALL CATEGORIES!! WOOHOO! (nyasal ku inda ku netball hmpf..)

Brunei (Football) got thru to finals....tapi sayang...we CUD'VE won champions..lost by penalty. *sigh* but its ok lah...2nd is good enough. at least they came home with medals and not empty handed kan??

Zie and Zur got 2nd place for badminton as well. Atu pun sayang jua...but their opponents were tough lah.

Mizi totally bombed in basketball tho. GILA..that dude knows his stuff. and they got 1st place!! didnt take pics of them in action tho...ive got crap megapixels wah...heh heh. But syam covered a lot of them on facebook lah...so its allll goOooodd~

Pokoknya? CONGRATS EVERYONEEEEEEEEEE!! you all did gooooooddd :)

Decided to stay over at Rashie's place that night. it was dark dah by the time i need to get home...and it was raining and windy as hell...so it was awfully dreadful to be going home alone. :P
