Had class till 5pm yesterday so right after tutorials, me, rash and sai went back to rashie's place to freshen up before we meet the rest of the group. While waiting, Rash fed us fettucini! it was real yummy. Seafood fettucini.. salmon with prawns..served with mixed veggies :)
My meal! isn't it yummy? ehehehe.
Met up with the rest of the group around 6-ish. But thankfully the tram wasn't full. When we got there, we were just walking around carnival and we saw this really freaky looking pendulum ride. It literally swung ppl around in the air like a pendulum. Didnt have enough guts to ride in it though (im afraid of heights!!) ..but my friends did. Fish, Rash, Beng Hui, Azmi and Sai rode in it though. So i just stayed with the rest while we watched em scream. Heh heh. *evil grin*
After that we watched the ppl start the bonfire. Nothing extraordinary..just ppl lighting up a whole big bunch of wood or something.
Walked around some more, Fish tried this dart game but she didnt win anything. After that we all tried this game where u have to buy the numbers and can only win if the numbers add up to 21. The annoying thing is.. almost all of the numbers that they gave us were even. So we ended up buying a whole load of numbers. i think it was 5 numbers for 2 pounds? But finally, one of us got an odd number so we could add it up to 21. So in the end, Rashie got herself a wolf!! its really big and adorable. She named it Brian. hehe. Just like Brian the dog in Family Guy.
After that we went to see the performance on stage. This girlband was performing and they were alright. Then this guy called Richard Fleece (i think) performed...they say he was an actor from coronation street when he was small or something. But the highlight of the performance was when WetWetWet walked into the stage and performed. They performed their famous number 1 single "Love is All Around". Then after that they performed their new songs from their new album. Only liked one of the songs though...catchy tune..i think it was called "too many ppl".
After that we left the stage area early so we could get a good spot with a nice view for the fireworks. The fireworks were magical. It lasted for half an hour i think.
After the fireworks...we were just walking around to look at the rides. I finally summed up enough courage to ride one of em. Its called "wild thing". Its sort of like a rodeo mechanical bull thing, except its in a shape of a circle and ppl sit around the diameter. It was a BUMPY and ROUGH ride. I was literally flown off my seat and if i wasnt hanging onto dear life i wouldve fell in the middle of the circle like this guy. Heh heh! Only Rashie, Lei, Beng Hui and Sai joined me though.

I am the chick with the pink scarf and going up the steps. HeheThat's me getting ready for the ride, little did i know what was in store for me :P
After that i rode in this ride similar to "aladdin" in JP. BUT!!! it was a whole lot faster than the one in JP. SO DAMN SCARY! i thought i was going to enjoy it. I did...but it was also scary :P
I was the second one from the left. Poor Sheila was at the left most, so she was thrown from side to side more. hehe.
After that me and Sheila rode in this similar ride to "Breakdance" in JP. It was again.. a lot faster. So i was spinning like crazy. By the end of the 3 rides...i was so paning so i stopped. my money was running out anyway. haha. After that we just chilled and bought ourselves some hot chocolates and took more pictures. i wanted to try out this palm reader but the event was closing down so we had to take the tram. :P
The tram ride was torture. it was jam packed with ppl and i HATE crowds. ech! otw back.. we were hungry so we stopped by at cafe' masala, its 5 minutes walk from the house. i ordered chips with tikka butter chicken. it was nice. not spicy at all somehow.
After that i was too tired to stay up with the rest of the gang so i slept.
I learnt a few things that night. Dont scream too much on a ride and eat a lot before u go somewhere open on a windy night. Both of them combined will give u a massive headache by the end of the night. But all in all it was an unforgettable night.
